"I love my room. It is sunny, I am out there a lot I can always see my friends coming over to visit. Everyone likes it. I read here, watch tv here and meet my friends here. Thank you."

Here is a challenge: Add a small entry room to a modular home without it seeming small inside and managing water runoff properly outside. Many contractors don't think in these terms.

Our homeowner had originally decided on another company to build her a "patio style" entry. We have all seen these types of rooms: sloped shed roof, lots of windows.

Not only would the homeowner not had privacy or much headroom, the impossible drainage problem created would have made the room unusable.

The worst part was a price tag over $12,000. She was convinced that a custom room by us would make it not only an entry, but a 3-season living space built to look like the rest of the home and with custom interior. You be the judge!

We are proud to say that we saved her thousands of dollars on this project.

"Wow, I wish I had a place like this when I was a kid."

"I was asked to design and build an addition to an existing tree house on an island at Pine Lake. My good friend was told the harsh reality... no. Not unless I can knock down what is there and start from scratch. He agreed and I went to work.

Instead of a structure tied to the trees, it sits on posts (solid ground) and fits between the trees. I wanted a nice place for his daughter but also to be standing for his grandkids to use. We repositioned the steps for a side entry and reused the slide in a conspicuous tree house fast-exit location.

The interior stayed rustic in appearance but functional as well. The exterior is Weatherproof, of course, with Foundry shake, BP Shingles, custom trim and covered entry.

Although I liked this project and am proud of the product, I would rather be invited back to fish this year."
